WISH: I wish that Aidan were human, and that he, Josh, and Nora were safe.
FIT: Sally is an incredibly outgoing, blunt, and personable person. Having been murdered and having her life ripped away so young, when given the chance, Sally doesn't take anything for granted...and that is when itcomes to interacting with people as well as living life to it's fullest and experiencing everything that she can when she has a body. As a ghost most people, in Boston, could not see Sally, which limited her social interactions - this always had an incredibly big impact on Sally because she always had the desire to interact with people, going so far as to talk to human beings that could not see her on many occasions. It was always exciting for Sally when someone could see her because it widened her social circle. And during her time as a zombie - having been brought back from the dead by Donna - Sally was eager to do everything, to live. She connected with guys - she got a boyfriend and was very eager to feel everything. It's because she has such a thirst, and a drive, to live that Sally would make an incredibly good fit.
Sally has the desire to get the fullest out of life - this means that she's interested in helping the community through as many means as necessary. This includes through volunteering - and that is, in part, to make up for mistakes and selfishness in the past, but because she has a lot of reasons to be thankful for being in Cadelle. That gives her plenty of motivation to do her part because this is a real second chance for her with no negative effects or a clock counting down how long she has.
CONSENT: Sally has walked a fine-line when it comes to consent, as well as had that line pushed with herself, by others. During her first go-around as a ghost, whiles he was still reeling from her death and the loss of everything that she knew, Sally experimented with possession. In her world this is an adedicting action that causes ghosts to feel the need, the urge, to possess people more and more often while it drives them crazy from the prolongued periods of taking literal control over a human being.
Sally, while having had a bad first experience with possesion, felt that pull to do it again. Ultimately, she wound up addicted to possessing and chose the girlfriend of an attractive doctor at the hospital that her best friends worked at and lived through her. Possession suppresses a person's will, meaning that the ghost in question is making all of the decision and exerting all of the control by force - most possessions are not welcomed. These prolongued periods of possession began to drove the woman in question crazy, causing her to wind up in the psych ward at the hospital.
Being a ghost brings with it enough power to superceed the control of others, to take away their consent and take from them. Ultimately, though, Sally worked through this addiction and as a way to make amends she helped the woman who she took advantage of through her werewolf friend Nora. She got the woman out of the hospital and even though the interaction was less than pleasant there she did what she could to help the woman mend, to prove to her that she was not crazy, and to help her gain control back of her life.
Since this massive mistake in judgement Sally did not manage to remain perfect when it came to consent. It is something that she has struggled with throughout her time as a ghost, as a zombie, and as a ghost/witch hybrid. And while she always means well, and wants to do good, and make up for past sins, she isn't infalliable. She has continued to make mistakes. And, out of necessity, has even possessed again in order to save people (including those that she loves most). One, big, emvent that gave her a taste of what she put people through was being possessed herself, by her boyfriend Max's mother (to keep them apart), during the time that she was resurrected - this gave Sally a better perspective on what she had once done to people and it is something that she still carries forward. Because of this and more Sally does not take possession lightly.
Sally has, repeatedly, used magic and cast spells in order to help those around her, without their permission. And because of the sort of magic that she is connected to it has taken a toll. Still, when she made these decisions she came from a place of good. If she had not taken some of the actions that she had some incredibly bad things could have happened. So, despite Sally still having made choices, and taken actions, that walked that line of consent she has grown as a person. She no longer does things willy nilly, or for fun or personal gain, which is growth. Especially considering the fact that Sally has gone from young woman murdered in her own home - by someone that she loved no less - seeking that feeling of life and to not disappear and miss everything to selfless ghost willing to give up her life-force for someone that she cares about.
And that is the reason that Sally believes she is capable of following the rules of consent in Cuddle City. Without the drama, enemies, and danger that those that she cared about looming there will be no reason for her to make decisions that might take away anybody's consent. As a victim of domestic abuse Sally would never physically cross those boundaries, and with a clear head, and realizing the gravity of what her lapse in judgement did to the people that she possessed she would never do so again, especially since nothing in Cuddle City should bring her to that point.
She has another chance to live here and she has no intention of squandering that by repeating mistakes that she has already lived and done her best to grow from. Before sacrificing herself and giving up her energy, Sally proved that other people's feelings, their wellbeing, and their lives matter to her. She's not the selfish woman seeking out life that she used to be - even if she's not going to squander or say no to that chance to live again. She can see the gravity of the mistakes that she made with the time that has passed and has the determination and drive not to ruin what she would consider a good thing.
This means that Sally would in no way break the laws of consent here, because of her growth, perspective, and because she does understand what it is to be a victim. She doesn't want to ever truly cross that line again.
POWERS/ABILITIES: Sally has abilities that fall into two seaparate categories; this is because of the fact that Sally is not only a ghost, but inherited the abilities of Donna the witch when she set the other woman free. As a ghost, Sallys' abilities are at the point that they are because she learned through being taught and through the sheer amount of time that she had been dead, allowing her to master a number of the abilities. As a witch, she is still somewhat inexperienced, but she has access to these powers that she inherited - and formerly shared with Donna.
As a ghost Sally has multiple abilities. The first of those abilities is her ability to transport herself from one location to another through mere thought; she only has to think of where she wants to be and she can literally disappear from wherever she is and reappear elsewhere. AS a ghost this is because she has no physical ties anywhere; she has no physical body and is intangible when she's a ghost at home. Because of this she cannot, or could not, be physically harmed. However, she could be dispersed with iron, banished/made ill by blessing/banishing her from a home with an exorcism, or shredded by another ghost. Shredding other ghosts - tearing apart their energy or their soul in the ghost form - is another of Sally's abilities. This is something that is addicting and that has an effect on the ghost, but it is something that Sally has done in the past and can do to ghosts from her world.
Another ghost ability that Sally has is the ability to possess the living. Because she has no physical body she can step into another person and effectively meld with them in order to take control of another person's body. This has a number of downfalls. During a possession she is suppressing the other person, and the longer that she remains in possession of the other person's body the harder it is for her to actually get out of said body. Another downfall to possession is the fact that it is incredibly addicting and can drive a ghost crazy over a prolonged period of time. There are varying levels of possesion for ghosts, as well. She can take over just someone's hand, or certain extremeties/parts of a person as well as a whole body.
The last of her ghostly abilities is to manifest her energy, or her will in physical ways. The ways in which she has done this in the past were through anger, which does put a ghost closer to a poltergeist's level, but she is able to manifest her feelings through physical places and actions. She can cause drains to back up, in a dwelling that she calls home, when she's displeased. Sally has also caused the home that she passed away in to shake and various other things as it reflected the mood that she was in and the energy that she was pushing out when her emotions were at their strongest. Luckily, this is something that Sally has much more control over now and is less likely to do on purpose.
The abilities that Sally inherited from Donna are much different. As a witch, or rather, having bonded herself to a witch Sally is able to create and manipulate fire. This is something that requires no magical incanations or anything complicated, but it is something that ties into Sally's emotions, and luckily she gained control over it very quickly. Along with the fire ability Sally can cast a number of spells; she has all of the spells from Donna's book in her head, from destroying Donna's spell book and sending Donna to freedom. She didn't even read all of the spells, but the book almost magically implanted them all into her head. This means that she knows the rituals, incantations, and everything needed to perform a multitude of spells that Donna had access to that were geared toward her magic. Sally, also, is able to observe magic performed by other witches and replicate those incantations. She has performed spells to free her friend from his wolf form when he was stuck, and even a spell of resurrection, technically speaking.
The main limitations to her magic are that when she performs spells - as a ghost with her connection to Donna- it has been known to send her into the past with no real ability to get herself back to the present. This is something that has happened repeatedly, but after one big stint in the past hasn't happened on the same level since. Sally is unable to perform magic while stuck in the past, though.
